News Part II

In case you missed the twitter announcement last night, the news I've been sitting on since June (yes that long!) is finally public.

The film rights to Unraveling have been optioned by MTV!

Obviously I'm deliriously excited about it.

No one is talking casting or anything like that, but as more news comes my way, I will definitely share!

News, Part I

I have the first of several pieces of news:

I will have a novella out as an ebook original March 5th, 2013!

And here's what the novella will be:

Three stories from Ben's perspective, one that takes place a year before Unraveling, one that takes place during Unraveling, and one that takes place between Unraveling and Unbreakable.

I'm really excited about it--it's so fun to be able to look at the events of the book(s) from a different perspective and then tell those stories. They'll be a little (okay let's face, a lot) spoilery if you haven't read Unraveling, but they won't spoil Unbreakable at all. And of course if you aren't into novellas, you can read both books without the novella and you won't feel like you're missing anything.

Unravelling with Two Ls

I'm so excited. When I got home the other day, waiting on my doorstep was a package from HarperCollins. It felt "bookish" so I knew it was the best kind of package.

I might have let out a squee when I opened it up. Inside was a copy of the ARC of the Unravelling UK edition! (Note, it's spelled "Unravelling" with two Ls, so it's not a typo :)

The Cover Gods definitely smiled on me. I have not one, but two amazing covers that I love. They're both so different, but they both manage to really represent the book.

My favorite thing about it, is the countdown numbers on the front--it's an important moment in the book!
