My baby sister got married last weekend.
(Do you see those Snow Village houses in the background--they were a staple of our childhood!)
Like other siblings, we had our moments where we kicked each other under the covers when forced to sleep in the same bed on family vacations. But for the most part, we've been close.
My sister is a good friend. She's still best friends with the same girls who she played with when she was six and she still keeps in touch with her friends from high school and college.

And she's managed to somehow make us all friends with each other.
And of course we were all there to celebrate with her.
Even if one of us was only there in spirit (and via Skype) since she's in Australia.
Congratulations to my sister and her awesome British husband. She's as wonderful as she is gorgeous, and I'm so happy for them!
